Fades that were applied using fade handles in FCP X will be converted by X2Pro into automation gain in the AAF, not cross fades. Can you check if your fades are present as automation gain in Pro Tools?
All fade handles will be converted into linear gain changes regardless of the type in FCP X.

Hello.
I’m working on a 30’ documentary, and I put out an .AAF via X2Pro full version, to move on to Pro Tools 10.
Apparently, our audio mixer cannot see any of the fades in or out that I put on my FCPX timeline.
I always use the little handle on audio file in FCPX to create a fade in or out, but maybe I should use another method ?
Thank you.
Michael
