That app was not able to strip bookmarks from fcpxmls with spaces in their file names. The version attached to this post is able to handle file names containing spaces

The attached zip contains a small app that will strip all the document scoped bookmarks from your fcpxml and save a copy next to it with "Debookmark" appended to the filename. For example if you chose "Sequence.fcpxml", the app would create a file called "SequenceDebookmarked.fcpxml" next to it.
This will avoid the need to open the fcpxml file in a text editor and do a find/replace, and will create a new fcpxml that will require media locations to be configured in the X2Pro preferences.

Hi Sarah,
Are you using OS X Mavericks and do the clips called A022_C002_03310A and A022_C005_03313Y both span multiple R3D files?
If so, then it's probably caused by the application sandboxing and the FCPXML only giving us permission for the first R3D file in the set. In the next release of X2Pro which is waiting approval from apple, we have changed the error message to be more helpful, but until that is available, as a workaround you may have to open the fcpxml in a text editor (e.g. TextEdit) and do find/replace on "bookmark>" and change it to something like "junk>".
If you are not comfortable doing this, you can attach your fcpxml and I will modify it for you.
This should force X2Pro to use media locations instead of document-scoped-bookmarks in the FCPXML, so you will need to add to the media locations all the folders that contain media files that are used in your project. X2Pro should prompt you to do this when you try to convert the modified fcpxml. You can just add you main hard disk (normally called "Macintosh HD") to the media locations and that will cover all files/folders on your machine including all local drives or mounted network drives.
