Nathan,
the error message is one that is being supplied to us by QTKit when it tries to open the mp3 file indicated (/Volumes/Promise Pegasus/CLIENTS/X/X_2014.fcpbundle/X/Original Media/DX.mp3), unfortunately it doesn't actually give any details about why it can't be opened. Please do the following:

1) If you have Quicktime V7 available try to open the file with that
2) Check that you have added the location of the file to the media locations in preferences (you could add / which covers everything)
3) If you can't play the file (either because QT V7 isn't available or because it doesn't play) please upload the mp3 file so that we can take a look at it and find out why QTKit can't open it.

If you need to upload the file please upload it to:

ftp.marquisbroadcast.cm
Username - drop
password - 3Ku7Ympu

or tell us where it can be downloaded from if you have a server yourself.

Note - if uploading to the 'drop' account, you cannot upload with 'Finder' you will need some FTP software, the 'drop' location is not viewable you can upload only and no list of files there can be seen before or after uploading.

It's not clear what your issue is. Can you please copy/paste the text from any error messages, and also attach your fcpxml.

I purchased your software thinking it would work properly. I am running into the above issue and I found a thread relating to the topic, but I cannot figure out how to post on that message board. We are working with R3D files, shot on Red.

What is the timeline to this fix? I need to get these AAFs sent to our audio engineer and the current workaround we cannot do here as this is a new machine without an older version of OSX.
