Can you please attach your fcpxml and tell me a time code to look at for a fade handle and for a keyframe that goes missing.

Hi Graeme,

I've been using fade handles and set keyframes. No cross fades were used.
All audio tracks are detached from video or recorded separately.

Thanks in advance!

Are these fades that are missing in Pro Tools implemented in FCP X using fade handles or cross fades?

Hi there,

since I've updated to the Pro Version from X2ProLE all the fading I've applied in FCPX are lost in the AAF I create from the XML.
Apparently this worked when I used the LE Version, but I wanted to give the Sound Engineer trimmed media, since some of the Soundfiles are 3h+ long and because we're transferring the AAF via FTP I wanted to keep them as small as possible.
Is there some setting I'm missing?

I'm usually embedding all the media in the AAF instead of referencing, because the project is kind of a documentary and we literally have terabytes of material that's not being used.

I have neither checked "Discard Transitions" nor "Discard disabled tracks", the only setting that has changed is "Trim embedded audio".

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
