I've forwarded your request on to the X2Pro Product Manager, but he is away for a couple of weeks...

Could you work with Nuendo to do some testing and establish formal support? Thorsten Marx, Product Planning Manager Pro Audio, has set up a AAF help desk. Please see the forum post.

I'm afraid we don't provide formal support for a Nuendo workflow, but...
X2Pro just creates AAF files and it uses the AAF SDK from the Advanced Media Workflow Association (they administer the AAF specification) to do this. We will provide support to the point that we will make sure that we are creating a valid AAF (that Avid Pro Tools will open). If Nuendo can open AAF files, then surely their support should cover you if you hit any issues opening a valid AAF?

Thanks Graeme,
I had seen the previous post discussing the possibility of it working with Nuendo and watched that video, but as the link between NLE and DAW is central to my workflow, now and in the future, I'm looking for a more secure and formally supported link.

Hi Adrian,
Nuendo is not officially supported, but a few customers have successfully imported AAFs created by X2Pro into Nuendo.
See this video made by one customer showing the FCP X to Nuendo workflow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaxUBaoe0po

I want to use Nuendo 6.5 for audio post. Will Nuendo be formally supported and tested?
Thanks.
Thanks.
