I think it might be something to do with the overall size of the AAF that X2Pro is trying to create.
Can you see how big the all AAFs together are after you split the project up?

Breaking it down worked, something I should have tried sooner I suppose. Glad it's up and running and appreciate the help. I suppose the long XML threw a wrench in the gears. Thank you!

There is nothing obvious, but if that clip didn't cause any problems when it was in a different (smaller) project (which is what I think you were saying earlier), then it's not likely to be an issue with that clip.

Definitely. Breaking it down into 20 minute or less reels right now to test and report back. At first glance was there anything particularly unusual about 83C_Z_audio_03 that would yield Error Message 0x80000005?

Drew,
That is quite a large fcpxml. Can you try splitting your project in half and converting each half separately. It would be interesting to know whether that completes?

Good deal and thank you. Well Wishes_AAF_Test is now on your server. In the meantime I'm breaking it down into reels to see if that is more copacetic.
Best,
Drew Boyd

The XML yielding the aforementioned errors is too large to upload here --- I've sent it to your support email address. Critical week ahead, let me know if we can get in touch.

System restart and attempted again. Same error message for 83C_Z_audio_03 at about 95% through AAF creation.
Copied all instances of 83C_Z_audio_03 to a fresh timeline with identical settings. Ran an XML of this brief sequence through X2Pro and received no error message. Does this pinpoint anything?
Worst case scenario I will strip all instances of this clip from the timeline and export an AAF then re-conform in Pro Tools, though I'd rather deliver a complete package.
Thanks,
Drew

Yes,
Using 2.4 and continuing to receive the following message at about 95% through AAF creation. Is there a direct line I can use to get in touch with someone from X2Pro? We're now close to a week behind. We purchased it after hearing glowing reviews from colleagues but the efficacy of the program, at least on my system, is not where it was guaranteed to be. Please advise with detailed instruction.
Thank you,
Drew

I've been able to diagnose troublesome clips, and on two separate occasions got far into the AAF creation. One time about 60% through that yielded the first error message:
and a second time where I got about 90% through that yielded this message:
I won't post anymore until you've had time to review but please advise going forward. In a tight spot.
Thank you for your time,
