Hi Jake,
Sylvain has suggested a workaround below (using clipwrap to losslessly convert the MTS file to a MOV). This may be the easiest solution.
There is also a forum thread ( www.x2pro.net/forum/4-media-and-formats/769-audio-extractor-error.html ) where we were helping a user to have X2Pro extract the audio from proxy/optimised clips that FCP X had created. I think there are two workarounds in that thread, one is to get FCP X to relink to the proxy/optimised clips, and the other was to manually edit the fcpxml.
If you need help with any of the workarounds, post back here, and we'll try to help.

Is there a work around? I'm relatively new to FCPX and have been editing a couple projects with .mts files. Just bought x2pro because it seemed like my only decent option for exporting an AAF and I assumed it could handle what the timeline could. If not I have to request a refund from head office or whatever and get Premier for all my future projects. Very frustrating, please help!

I think to find my problem. X2pro can not extract audio from MTS file format. The same file convert with clipwarp in MOV file is OK
Somebody can to confirm ?
