In your project, "Drone Dark and Scary" is surround 5.1 (6 channels), and in the AAF that X2Pro created when I converted it, I got audio on 6 tracks in Pro Tools (see attached screen grab). This is expected behaviour ( see "How it works>Laying out the tracks" in the knowledge base for an explanation )

Are you seeing different behaviour to me?

Hi Graeme,

Attached is the fcpxml, one example of this happening would be roughly 1:18:20 'Drone Dark and Scary,' in general all of the drones are coming up tripled, when in fcpx there is only one track

As a result of this tripling of different tracks, my protools file is coming up with about 44 tracks of sound.

Let me know if this clarifies the problem i'm having.

Thanks,
Matias

Please attach your fcpxml and tell us a name and timecode of a clip that is duplicated so we know where to look.

I've imported my AAF file into Protools, and it has created duplicates of some of the sounds in my timeline (not all, just some), have I selected something wrong in my creation of the AAF file? how can I fix this?
