The officially supported workflow is to open the AAF in Pro Tools and unfortunately I don't have access to Nuendo to try it myself.
Telekinesis Studios have made a video showing how to use X2Pro with Nuendo that might help: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaxUBaoe0po

Hi,
I do audio post in our company and we have clients that edit on FCPX as we do.
All use X2Pro to produce an AAF for Audio post. Ever since X2Pro has been used we have been having a Import problem.
We use Nuendo 5.1.1 for audio post and on import we get "Failed to Import AAF file: [Err 8012006A]" when doing a extracting audio import.
If I import to Nuendo without extracting it imports correctly with automation. But of course I can't edit at clip level. The only way I have found to work around this is to import the AAf not extracted then save it as either a AAF or OMF as s self contained file start a new job and import the new file extracted which works fine but now the automation is missing.
The AAF supplied by clients and our internally generated AAF's all do the same thing.
There must be something I'm missing during import.
