Hi Shabeenk

One other customer has reported something similar and we are struggling a little bit here with this, would be extremely grateful if you could advise whether you have managed to get round the issue and was it only related to that specific FCP XML ? Have you been able to use X2Pro successfully on other exports since ?

Please advise and many thanks

James.

Were you able to remove that clip? Did removing it enable you to convert your project?

Asset r140 is called "Title Buzz Whoosh" which is a sound effect provided with FCP X.

For some reason, in the fcpxml there does not appear to be enough information for X2Pro to be able to know where to get the audio from. Are you able to remove that sound effect from your project (it is only used in one place) and put it back in, then try exporting again and running that though X2Pro?

I am too having the same issue. Please help me to find a soluiton.

Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information

Details:
Getting asset with Id r140
Unable to find asset with Id r140
Suggestions:
- Ensure that the file is not locked by another application and is readable;
- Ensure that this is a valid FCP XML file from a released version of FCP X;
- Ensure that this is the export of a Project, not of a Library or Event;
- Ensure that this is not an empty project (or that all audio is disabled);
