That explains the 0x80000004 error. Good to hear that you have found the solution to that, thanks for letting us know.
Do you have a small clip that exhibits the white noise problem, but sounds fine in FCP X? I could email you FTP details if you are able to upload one.

Hello Graeme,
Thanks for quick answer.
For the error 0x80000004, I have answer.
Destination device was formatted in FAT 32. The size of the AAF file is 15 Go. So I tried on another disk and it's works.
By blank sound, it's "White Noise" : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_noise
No clip are missing or are muted. All is OK on FCP.
It's only on reading on ProTools. When the sound editor make an export, it works. But when he want to read AAF on protools, he can't. This is "White noise".

Are you reporting two issues here?
Please attach your FCPXML that results in the error 0x80000004
What do you mean by "blank sound", do you mean that clips are missing, or are muted, or something else?

Hello,
I have a problem when I want to convert XML into AAF.
Error message is :
Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [MVI_7742] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 0 of asset [MVI_7742]
Adding audio data to AAF file
Adding Sample Data
Creating Essence Data Objects
Error code: 0x80000004
No AAF file has been generated.
Where the problem comes ? When I checked my FCP project, there is no problem.
I'm using X2pro 2.4 and FCP X 10.1.3
So, I have another problem.
With some export, there is "blank sound" on reading on ProTools. But all files are complete and there is no problem on export.
Do you know this problem ? What solutions if you have ?
Thanks !
