It's out of our hands really. Our AAFs are valid, otherwise Pro Tools wouldn't be able to work with them.

I'm afraid that before we can officially support that workflow, Logic Pro will need to develop more complete AAF support.

For next time somebody asks this question: it is because the automation on tracks is disabled by default. Select the tracks and enable the Track automation, and it will work.

Logic is not officially supported; I assume this is an issue in Logic. It should be fine in Pro Tools

When I import the AAF into Logic Pro X I can see gain automation lines in the audio regions where I have made fade handle and volume keyframe adjustments in FCPX but these have no effect on the volume when I play the tracks back in Logic. Is this a known issue?
And, will these volume changes be present in Pro Tools (I am using Logic to check the AAF before I send it off to the sound engineer as I don't have Pro Tools myself)
