The error message that I get when I try to convert your fcpxml says:
Is that the same error message that you get? If so, then it looks like it's an invalid fcpxml. FCP X can't even import the fcpxml, when I try to import it into FCP X, it displays the exact same error message.
The reason that the xml is invalid is because there are 5 strange characters (like letters) throughout your xml that are making it invalid. I have replaced them with spaces and it is now able to be used by both X2Pro and FCP X. The edited (working) fcpxml file is attached.
