I've moved your post into a new thread because it appears to be a different issue to the one mentioned in the thread that you originally posted in .

The error message that I get when I try to convert your fcpxml says:
Details:
Unable to parse file /Volumes/Mavericks/Users/Shared/FCPMedia/MISWACOHistory.fcpxml (Line 2231: invalid character in attribute value
Line 2231: attributes construct error
Line 2231: Couldn't find end of Start Tag video
)

Is that the same error message that you get? If so, then it looks like it's an invalid fcpxml. FCP X can't even import the fcpxml, when I try to import it into FCP X, it displays the exact same error message.

The reason that the xml is invalid is because there are 5 strange characters (like letters) throughout your xml that are making it invalid. I have replaced them with spaces and it is now able to be used by both X2Pro and FCP X. The edited (working) fcpxml file is attached.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue exporting FCPXML 1.4 from FCP X 10.2

Any clues?
