This is also happening with a clip called "NB3383== 10D t 2 ==_1_2_3".

I have edited your fcpxml (and attached it) to change the invalid source references to valid channel references. This might allow you to work around this issue and generate an AAF, but you should check all instances of both those clips to make sure that what you expect is in the AAF.

Your fcpxml is describing the sequence in a way that appears to be invalid...

The clip called "NB3367== 10B t 2 ==_1_2_3_4" is described in the assets list as having 1 audio source and 4 channels in that source, and when that clip is used in your project at 13:05:18, 13:30:04, 13:35:01 & 14:58:18, the fcpxml says that channels 2, 3 & 4 are used, but at 13:08:00, the fcpxml says that sources 2, 3 & 4 should be used. The problem that X2Pro is having is that it's being told to use a source that it was previously told didn't exist.

Can you try re-importing the fcpxml into FCP X and have a look at 13:08:00 to see if the audio that you expected to be there is really there or whether FCP X also has trouble understanding that part of the fcpxml?

Hi,

Trying to get an AAF out of the 1st reel of a feature. Using xtopro 2.5.1/FCPX 10.2. Getting the error;

Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information
Details:
Invalid track number 4 referencing asset NB3367== 10B t 2 ==_1_2_3_4.WAV
Suggestions:
- Ensure that the file is not locked by another application and is readable;
- Ensure that this is a valid FCP XML file from a released version of FCP X;
- Ensure that this is the export of a Project, not of a Library or Event;
- Ensure that this is not an empty project (or that all audio is disabled);

So far the only work around is by deleting the offending files as they stop the export of the aaf, then going back, exporting another xml etc. So far I haven't been able to to export an aaf successfully. Any help would be much appreciated. Under tight schedule. I have also attached the xml. Many thanks.
