I think it was something like find "bookmark" and replace with "junk", but I don't think that will help if you are using the latest version.

I'll get a user account set up on our ftp server and send you an email...

Sure, but it's a fairly large clip and might take a while, like a day or so. I think there are 6 to 8 pieces. What was the find replace thing? I might give that a go.

You shouldn't need to a find/replace when using 2.5.1, it should just work...

Would you be able to upload that RED clip to our FTP server? I think I'll need to email you new connection details if you can.

Yes to running 2.5.1

Yes to it being a spanned clip. I forget the xml find replace trick that needs to be done.

Is that a spanned RED clip (does is consist of more than one R3D file)?
Is the location of the R3D file in X2Pro's media locations?
Are you running X2Pro version 2.5.1?

Getting data errors extracting from R3D files though with a failure to generate the AAF file.

Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [D001_C009_1228CV_002] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 0 of asset [D001_C009_1228CV_002]
Reading audio data from audio extractor : 524288 samples
Failed to read 524288 samples
Error reading from RED file : invalid clip data

Suggestion: Ensure this file is a valid RED file that is accessible by this user

No AAF file has been generated.

I notice that in the title bar, it says "X2Pro Audio Convert (Beta)", and I don't think we gave you a beta recently, so it's likely to be quite an old version.

I suggest you delete the beta from your applications folder and download X2Pro from the app store so that you are running the latest version, then try again because I was able to convert both those fcpxmls using X2Pro version 2.5.1 from the app store.
