Logic Pro 9.0 may be able to load an AAF created by Pro Tools after importing what it gets converted from X2Pro, but because our software (X2Pro) was only built and qualified to work with Avid Pro Tools; there is no guarantee or support from us for any problems or incorrectly-processed aspects of the timeline inside of Logic Pro.

Thanks for your answer!

What if, in case it doesn't work correctly. What if I then import the X2Pro AAF file into Avid Pro Tools, then export it from Pro Tools and import the new aaf file into Logic Pro 9.0

Do you think this will work, or am I being too creative?

X2Pro Audio Convert is a cutting edge conversion application for delivering Final Cut Pro X projects to Avid Pro Tools for audio finishing.

Although Logic Pro X and possibly 9.0 may be able to load an AAF created by X2Pro, because the software (X2Pro) was only built and qualified to work with Avid Pro Tools, there may be some parts from the AAF that are not processed correctly or as expected by Logic Pro.

Hi there,

I'm working with FCPX and Logic Pro 9.0 and would like to purchase X2Pro.

Does X2Pro also convert xml's to aaf for this version of Logic. Or is it just compatible with Logic Pro X?

If so, is there another version of X2Pro that makes it able for Logic Pro 9.0 to cooperate with FCPX?

Thanks for your attention,

Kind regards
