Jeremy,

It got to about 75% through the conversion and gave me the following error --

Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [DSC_0020] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 0 of asset [DSC_0020]
Reading audio data from audio extractor : 1048576 samples
Failed to read 1048576 samples
Error Reading audio data from asset [-50] [error in user parameter list]

Suggestion: Try transcoding this file and any other files of the same audio format:
[/Volumes/G-DRIVE 2 TB/Valentines Day/valentines day video files/Dup video files/DSC_0020.mov]

No AAF file has been generated.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Dave O.

The very first line of your XML where the timeline "resources" are listed was incorrect.
It had a path to a file that it didn't need to have, which would not even allow me to import the original XML back into FCP X.

I have removed that path and the file loads and converts in my X2Pro and loads into my FCP X.

Please try my edited file on your system and let me know if things are working for you after this.

As discussed in my last post, I couldn't convert a file from a client. The solution was to use a text editor and change the client's directory to my own. After I did that, I received the attached error.
Any idea what this could be? I've also attached the FCP XML if that helps. Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Dave O.
