unable to open the AAF - does not convert

I am able to convert your FCPXML here and load the outputted AAF into my Pro Tools.
Have you tried loading the AAF file that was created for you into Pro Tools or give it to your audio engineer to load into Pro Tools and had an error?

Could you copy the text from the error message that you receive and post that on the forum?
Also, could you attach your FCPXML for us to take a look at?

I downloaded the app from the app store
i exported the final cut pro XML and set a destination.
started the conversion and waited as it processed. i watched as it found every clip and slate and sound bite correctly.

when it came up with the generic error message notification that just mentioned the volumes I had adjusted and it would ignore them, i went to the destination and nothing... its still just code. its not an AAF file, its just a doc with letters and number in it but the title of it finishes in ".aaf"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but its just a document. can someone please help me. I really have no idea why such a simple programme is causing an issue. I need to send this over to my sound guy asap.... thank you.
