From looking at your FCPXML, there is a problem that we have seen quite often recently with media not listing audio attributes in the asset listing but then referencing them in the timeline.

The case with your XML is rather extreme as it seems to occur with 74 different clips (some on numerous occasions).

Below is a list of the clips that contain no asset information for audio but reference it later in the timeline part of the XML.

Unfortunately the only way we have seen to fix this in the past is to remove and re-edit each of these clips back into your FCP timeline. Apple support has advised us to encourage the users who have seen this problem to report it to Apple so that it will get looked at.

lansingjason created the topic: UNABLE TO PARSE - UNABLE TO FIND ASSET WITH Id r14
I am getting this message:

Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information

Details:
Getting asset with Id r14
Unable to find asset with Id r14
Suggestions:
- Ensure that the file is not locked by another application and is readable;
- Ensure that this is a valid FCP XML file from a released version of FCP X;
- Ensure that this is the export of a Project, not of a Library or Event;
- Ensure that this is not an empty project (or that all audio is disabled);

Supposed to be sending to sound designer today....
