I believe when you exported your XML from FCP X that you had more selected than just your specific project.
When i import your XML into my FCP X i get not only your project but 2 other "Events" and a lot of clips.
Try going back into FCP X and selecting just your Project file "Underhanded Dec 2014 for SFX" and then choose the file... Export XML... option. This should then output and XML that is just your ~20 minute sequence and not all of the other bits.
Please let us know how you get along.

Would you provide us with the FCP, X2Pro, and Pro Tools versions you are using?
Also Would you or your sound engineer provide some screen captures of the "weird sound clips" inside of Pro Tools?
If we can get your FCPXML as well, that would be much appreciated.

I exported an xml from FCP X.0.8 the converted it using x2 proLE audio converter. The sound guy said that when he imported it into pro tools, he got was a lot of weird sound clips that didn't match the video and the length was over an hour when it should have been about 20 mins. The second time I exported it he said it just wouldn't import at all. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help?
