This looks like it is caused by a bug dealing with retiming that has been applied to a compound clip.

Unfortunately it looks like the solution to get you working is to remove the retiming from the compound clip (if you can find it) or downgrade X2Pro to version 2.5.1 which doesn't have this bug.

Are you able to downgrade to X2Pro 2.5.1 using Time Machine?

Jeremy -

I don't know if this information is useful for trouble shooting, but it might prove helpful: This project's interviews were shot using 2 cameras. Once imported into FCPX, both angles were combined into multi clips along with a wave file for audio captured using a digital recorder. Consequently, many clips edited into the timeline are pieces and parts of "switched" multi clips and/or compound clips containing edited multi clips (no auditions were used-- I understand X2Pro doesn't like them unless they are finalized). It's a bit of a deep, multi-layer rat's nest, but in the past, X2Pro has been pretty good at magically sorting it all out...

Jeff,

I tried to open your FCPXML in my FCP here and still get an error when trying to load it.
The error message from X2Pro is a little strange to me without being able to look at your timeline, so i am raising this in our support tracking system wna dwill followup with my UK team first thing in the morning.

My apologies for it take overnight, but I can not get things to load here.

I will keep you aware of our progress tomorrow.

I've been trying various things to try to make it work. I'll try to run it once more and upload the XML so we can be sure.

I have moved your post to a new topic as it does not have the same error message or exhibit the same problems as the topic it was originally posted in.
It appears in the error message you copied that the "CLIP0000192.1" is corrupt or doesn't end when the file says that it does.
But when i try to load your FCP XML into my FCP here, i get an error:

DTD validation failed. (IDREF attribute projectRef references an unknown ID "p1"
IDREF attribute projectRef references an unknown ID "p1"
IDREF attribute projectRef references an unknown ID "p1"

IDREF attribute projectRef references an unknown ID "p1"
IDREF attribute projectRef references an unknown ID "p1"
IDREF attribute projectRef references an unknown ID "p1"

Are you using this exact XML that you have attached here to get the error you copied?

kaoscontrol replied the topic: Jeremy! AAF! Need it yesterday! What's going on???
X2Pro is the final link in a very expensive project and is ESSENTIAL to my audio post. It's not working!
I've tried disabling all the pieces, eliminating half the sequence, eliminating all but a few clips in the sequence-- I'd even sacrifice chickens at this point to get my AAF to my mixer -- Nothing works (I haven't tried the chickens yet).
What's my problem?
