I've narrowed my problem down to a single clip. Oddly, It's the countdown that I have used regularly without issue. If I substitute another countdown from the same directory the AAF is completed normally. If I use the regular one the error is thrown. There are no permissions differences between the two files, but audio and some other characteristics do differ. I can post both files on our ftp if you'd like to take a look at them.
Thanks.

Here's the error message text:
Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [ IMG HD Slate 2008 Spotlight Version Apple Pro Res (HQ) 4 Ch. Audio (HQ)] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 0 of asset [ IMG HD Slate 2008 Spotlight Version Apple Pro Res (HQ) 4 Ch. Audio (HQ)]
Reading audio data from audio extractor : 105140 samples
Failed to read 105140 samples
No AAF file has been generated.
X2Pro Audio Convert 3.0.2
FCP X 10.2.2
OS X 10.10.4
Trim Embedded Audio = ON
Trim Handles = 5:00
When I disable the offending clip (listed in the error text) in FCPX the AAF is successfully generated. Could be a permission issue.
Thanks for your help.
