Sample X2Pro AAF for testing with other audio apps

That's great news, are you able to explain exactly (with step by step instructions) what you did to get it to import so that we can help others that are struggling?
The currently released version doesn't copy the clip gain, automation gain or fade handles from the fcpxml into the AAF. We are currently testing a version that does convert clip gain, automation gain and fade handles and this will be a free upgrade.
I can upload a sample later today of an AAF with handles if you would still like to check that before buying?

Hi !
It worked for me too on Nuendo 5.5 / Windows 7.
I didn't needed to relink audio clip after import.
If handles and fades work, we'll certainly buy X2pro.
Can you give us a more complexe aaf sample (with handles, fades and gain level) ?
Thanks

I can confirm that the screen shot you attached looks like what I would expect to see (I haven't used Nuendo, but it looks pretty similar in Pro Tools). I thought I had just dropped the whole clip onto the timeline in FCP X, so I wouldn't have expected that sample aaf to demonstrate the handles feature though.

Version 1.1 is just around the corner and you'll get an automatic update when it hits the App Store. That includes levels, automatic gain and fade handles all converted to keyframes, as well as markers.

It simply says "Soundtrack Pro cannot import the AAF embedded media file".
Thanks.

Was there any message indicating why it wasn't able to open the aaf?

It would have been great to be able to test it in a simple software like Soundtrack or Logic, prior to sending the oaf file to a pro tools mixer...

- Nuendo: Some reports of it working to some degree by jefgibbons and Alan Seawright (Need to open a new session on import and reference the audio, importing the embedded audio doesn't work. Awaiting further details on exactly how to do this). Other reports e.g. by Ilan Golovy, that it doesn't work.
- Pro Logic 9: It shows tracks, but doesn't bring in the audio (thanks for testing cuzic4n)
- SoundTrack Pro: Says "Soundtrack Pro cannot import the AAF embedded media file" (thanks for testing stanalexis)
