Dear Amy,
Support for "retiming of compound clips" is only possible with FCPX's version 1.6 XML. (which is only available from FCP 10.3). The XML you are using is a V1.4 which is very old.
I would never recommend to anyone to upgrade their version of FCPX if they are in the middle of a project, if you are then the only option is to remove the instances of these retimed compound clips, or if possible consolidate them to a single clip each to replace the compound clips.
Yours sincerely
James

I've now paid for the upgrade and still getting this error.
I've used this program for 3 years without issue. So strange that the update stopped it from working and caused me to have to pay for a different version.

Hello, I've tried this solution of uninstalling and it has not worked. I still can't restore my upgraded version (already paid for) and the LE version update is blocking my use.
Please advise.

Dear Akerston,
We have been unable to reproduce here, we would suggest that you uninstall your version of X2Pro then empty the trash. Then can you download your LE version again (it should show if you are logged on the App Store as able to be installed). When you install it the App Store will enable the ProUpgrade. automatically, and when you launch X2Pro it will show you it is X2Pro ProUpgrade..
Please advise
Yours sincerely
James
