Will it be possible to rename the roles and subroles?

Good day

I would love to try out the beta. I usually backup my current version before updating.

Dear All,

Pleased to say in the next iteration of the software we have included better role management. You are able to select and group multiple roles and the UI is freely sizeable.

If you would like to use and comment on this functionality we can probably look to include you in the Beta program.

Yours Sincerely

James.

Hi X2Pro team

Any update on this? Busy with another project where it would be really useful to see the entire role name and also have an easier way to move roles up and down.

Wilhelm

Amazing news, Daniel

Please keep us posted. For now the option to make the window wider to the right would already be a gerat help!

Hello X2Pro Team!

I completely agree with this. Please find attached a screenshot of a very simple project with only a couple of roles.

It becomes difficult to navigate larger projects.

Surely a basic UI design update is possible?

Hello,

We have used very tough FCPXML for years and the resulting AAF files have been robust and reliable, X2Pro and Final Cut Pro X are a very powerful solution. Our main suggestions are about x2Pro interface.

We usually work with lots of roles, 20 or more and the actual interface it's a bit small for this number. We would love to have a bigger interface to see all the roles at once.

Also, we would like to have tools to reorder two or more roles at once. It will be very useful some kind of multiple selection to move several roles at the same time. And one thing that bother us a bit is that, the order we establish for roles in Final Cut, is altered when importming fcpxml in x2Pro.

Even, to preserve the color we have assigned to roles in Final Cut Pro X will be perfect.

Greetings from Barcelona!
