For people working on long format feature length films, converting the timeline to XML then running through X2Pro results in a aaf file that can be quite large. Pro Tools will not work with anything over 2 gigs so this is a problem.

My post house just asked me export tracks 1-8 and then 9-16 (or however many it is in FCP7). Of course editing in FCPX that wasn't an option, so I had to manually replace with gap 3/4 of timeline. Export. Undo. Replace. Etc until i had exported it 1/4 at a time. It's tedious and VERY VERY easy to mess up which totally ruins sync. It's actually taken a full day of work for me to figure this all out and coordinate and text outputs with post house.

Would be great if X2Pro would automatically cut file at 2 gigs and start in with a new one. Or divide in some other way that makes sense. Really important for Pro work flow.

THANKS!
