Hi Tim, thank you for your helpful insight.
- when you say "compound clips can't be trimmed safely so we do not do that" is it something you think will change in the future?
Any workaround? I thought of exporting the xml from my project, opening it in a text editor, replacing all occurrences of the compound clips with the original clips, give the new xml to worx4 for trimming, import in a new library the trimmed clips, then make compounds out of them, reopen the new trimmed xml in a text editor, replace every link to the clips with the compounded clips and finally import that xml in the new library.
I got stuck when I imported the xml where I allegedly replaced the compound with normal clips, but the project still used to reference compound clips...
...but if you think it's a viable option, once well executed, I can study and try to get it done...
thanks for your comments!
