Won't Convert

When you've imported your XML does it tell you the number of clips and the duration below the browse button? If it hasn't given you that information then it is still reading the XML and checking that it has access to all of the media files. How large is your XML file exactly?

It is worth checking the activity monitor to confirm that X2Pro is still doing something and hasn't stopped responding without informing you.

I've also tried sharing from FCPX to X2Pro and nothing happens. I've even tried going into the settings when exporting and choosing audio only. The entire file without being tampered with is almost 500GBs because the footage was shot in 4K - when I then switch the export settings to "Audio Only", then it lowers it to less than 2GBs. I hit next and then from there I'm stuck in limbo. My FCPX screen darkens, the X2Pro browser window pops up, and then nothing. I've let it sit like this for a while, come back, nothing changes.

So yeah, using the browser and loading the XML file directly doesn't do anything. The "CONVERT" button doesn't light up. And then trying to share from FCPX into X2PRO is futile as well.

Isn't that what I've been doing in order to load it into the program?

And what do you mean by opening and closing the X2Pro preferences?

Right now I'm stuck with this turkey I've paid $150 and I needed to extract these audio files Friday morning.

This appears to be a bug with dragging and dropping your XML onto the X2Pro icon.

For now you can get around this by browsing to your XML from inside X2Pro, or by simply opening and closing the X2Pro preferences. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I have reported this and it will be fixed in the next update.

Was avoiding buying this but I've been having trouble with Resolve and Logic.

And now I get this screen and I can't convert. I exported the XML as I normally would from FCPX. And I browse, upload here, and I get this screen:

Can anyone offer assistance?
