Unfortuntely we don't have access to Davinci so I'm not sure if it's possible to use to transcode media. Normally we recommend transcoding using Quicktime player to a codec we know that Apple will support (like ProRes for example). Make sure to use the new created media in your FCPX project instead of the original mxfs.

OK thank you.
I already tried to transcode via FCPX some MXF into media proxy.
The aaf didn't work neither.
Is there another way to transcode? Davinci is a possibility ?

The problem comes down to the file being an mxf file. We use AVFoundation to be able to read media files. We rely on its ability to read/understand these clips in order for us to work with them. Apples AVFoundation struggles with a lot MXF files so that is why we are failing to extract the audio from your xml. The way to get around this would be to transcode your mxf clips using Quicktime , relinking them all to your project in FCP X and then running it through X2Pro.

Hi, thank you for you answer !
Rushes are in MXF and sound in .wav.
I already worked with this kind of rushes on another movie with fcpx/x2pro. I didnt meet this kind of problems.
Yes, I set the media location.
Here is an xml.
Thanks !

Hi Ninaha,
What type are the files you are working with? Have you set the media locations for your clips in the X2Pro Preferences (CMD + ,) ? If possible, sending us the xml file could help us see what the problem is.
