Dear F_Novembre,
We only think Sync clips are valid if they contain a video and at least one audio track, if the sync clip covers the entire portion it is used in a timeline i.e. the sync clip is one minute long and only 20 seconds of this is actually referenced in the timeline then we will trim the sync clip.
Hope the above helps.
Yours sincerely
James

ok, thank you
so Worx4 X can't work with multicam clips and "still closed" compound clips, clear
about Sync Clips : " if they cover the used portion in the timeline " remains a bit unclear... sorry

Dear F_N
Not sure how to say how it works without repeating the same quotes, however here goes. On consolidation we will not trim compound or multicam clips, we leave them as is. We will trim Sync clips only if they cover the used portion in the timeline, if they don't then we will not attempt to trim them.
If I have misunderstood what you want then please advise.
Yours sincerely
James

> Compound or MultiCam clips are copied in their entirety, media file which are longer than these clips will be trimmed to the length of the original Compound or MultiCam clip. However, breaking apart Compound clips will allow the media to be trimmed to that used in the timeline.
> Sync clips that contain a video clip and one or more audio clips, which entirely cover the used portion in the timeline will be trimmed, Sync clips that do not meet these criteria will not be trimmed, but copied in their entirety. Breaking apart such Sync clips will allow the media to be trimmed.
