Unfortunately Multicam is currently on the list that we don't support. "Compound or MultiCam clips are copied in their entirety, media files which are longer than these clips will be trimmed to the length of the original Compound or MultiCam clip."

It is possible to trim it now but it would involve you separating the active angles in each multicam clip in FCPX and re-exporting the xml file, which would involve a lot of effort on your end of things.

Hi Luke,

What type of media are you are using? We use Apple AVFoundation to cut down and reduce the size of clips where possible so it might be a file type that AVFoundation doesn't support. More information on Worx4X and its limitations can be found here: https://worx4.com/Worx4-X/worx4-x-features.html .

Hello!

I am getting only very marginal reduction in size, is there a way to really trim things down to the bare minimum?

For example I have a 5 min edit that shows this:

17:14:21 Consolidation is expected to reduce the size of the project as follows:
Trim Handles: 3.0s.
Uncompressed audio files will be trimmed.
Sync clips will be optimised.
Original project: 7.35 hours - 332 GB.
Consolidated project: 6.03 hours - 267 GB.
Saving 64.7 GB.

6 hours of footage for 5 mins!!! Is there no smart way to really cut down on all this extra material?

Thanks in advance !
