Dear Adam
I should have added the only issue we can see is that we could not access one file:
Copying from [/Volumes/M.Philip Tel-8052451950/Production House/Active projects/Curse of the Orange Rug/Curse of the Orange Rug.fcpbundle/Edit/Original Media/birds-soaring-in-sky-in-stockholm-archipelago_-yobhZ2xr.mov] to [/Volumes/24TB Raid/Test Wox4/COTOR_Worx4/birds-soaring-in-sky-in-stockholm-archipelago_-yobhZ2xr-copy1.mov]
The operation couldn’t be completed. No such file or directory
Apart from that everything looks normal in processing the media.
Yours sincerely
James

Dear Adam
Admittedly we do not have the essence but we get the same warnings in FCPX whether we import Ronson50thEdit19-PostPartyExtraChecksandConsolidation.fcpxml or Ronson50thEdit19-PostPartyExtraChecksandConsolidation_2017-09-26.fcpxml
Can you please confirm that if you import both xmls supplied (the original FCP created one given to Worx4X and the resultant XML created by Worx4X), you receive the same warnings ?
Please advise.
Yours sincerely

Dear Adam,
In the location where Worx4X created the consolidated XML and media should be a .txt file (named after the original XML file), can you please forward this text tile to us as it will detail which clips it was able to consolidate and which it could not.
Many thanks.
James

adamcohen created the topic: Worx4 X producing corrupted xml.
I tried to use my newly purchased download of work4 x to consolidate a complex project I have just finished. The original library is much too big (5TB) and I need to archive something smaller and leaner. This seemed the perfect solution. I exported an xml (something I do a lot as I work with a remote editor who has duplicate rushes) and then opened the xml in Worx4 x. The software seemed happy to chug through the consolidation process (it took 7 hours) and produced a folder of clips etc. at the end. I then tried to open the resultant xml it generated in a new library and it did open the timeline, but with many errors. I have since re-imported the original xml into the backup library and it has imported correctly.
If the software can't handle what I do, I have wasted my money. Looking forward to hearing what to do. I attach the original xml and the Worx4 x generated one, as suggested by James Carrick at
I'd like to think the programme works but at present I am dubious!
