That mov file seems a little odd:
  • It has 40 tracks
  • There are 5 groups of 8 tracks, and each group of tracks has a different duration. Only 1 group of 8 tracks has the same duration as the video track
  • One of the tracks from the last group of 8 is very loud static noise

I don't think any of those make the mov file "bad", but something there clearly causes a problem for X2Pro. How was this mov file created?

In order to get X2Pro to create an AAF, you can turn the "Trim embedded audio" option on (not an option in the "LE" version unless you have paid for the pro upgrade). I was able to convert your project with 0s and 2s handles and the "Trim embedded audio" option turned on.

I can't open that file in Quicktime Player 7, or X, and I also can't open it in FCP X. Are you able to play that file?

You haven't attached the fcpxml for the first post, so I can't help with that one yet.

In your second post, the problem is with a files called EDF_A_0012.mov, which is on a drive called ElephantStorage, in the folder "01_CLIENT/EDF/EDF OMNI CANALITE /03-RUSH/EDF-DMCP_OMNI/Itw_F-Gourdellier/FS_7/".

Are you able to make that file available for us to look at?

If you really need an AAF, and can cope without that clip, you could try using the bottom option in the media handling preferences that will enable you to create an AAF even if there are errors reading some files.

Hello,

I still have the same error as on my previous request, I do not know where the problem comes from. I just specify that all my clips are transcoded into prores.

thank you in advance.
