Hi Paloma,
Unfortunately we don't have a list no. But, we are only able to work with what AVFoundation supports (this is basically just whatever QT is able to play). I will try to find a list at some point as this would also be helpful for us to have here.
Regards,
Daniel

Thanks for the speedy reply, Daniel.
Is there a list of types of audio that X2Pro can't handle, so that we could manually screen our project before making the XML?
Cheers,
Paloma

Hi Paloma,
X2Pro does a quick scan to see if it can access all of the media before starting the process. In your case there was a problem with extracting some of the audio. If we implemented a check which had to go through and check all of the media, it would probably take near the same amount of time as the conversion.

Daniel

Hi,
I know X2Pro can't handle certain sample rates and other things, but isn't/shouldn't there be a way for the program to do a quick scan of an XML before starting a hours-long AAF conversion, in order to find any problem files? Trying to convert a 30 minute project XML to AAF, X2pro spends 3-4 hours converting things, then crashes before completion. Repeatedly.
Thanks,
Paloma
