Missing Roles in AAF

Hopefully our Product Manager will be discussing this with Apple later this week so we can work with the FCP X team on getting this fixed.

Apologies, we now understand the issue that you are having. We have come to the conclusion that this is a limitation on how X2Pro works with XMLs created by FCPX. At the moment we are trying to organize a meeting with Apple so we can get this sorted.

Excuse me , I use X2pro since more than 5 years (2 oct 2014) , of course all roles I need has been check in X2pro role tab.

In your Pro Tools you should have CAM_A_S...... almost all the way in the AAF, because this role is a HF - Cam A.HF in the Multicam , and it's not , it has been concerted in Dialogue role

But If I use a clip Cam A in my project, not in the multicam , I able to have in the aaa.

We couldn't see the same issue i'm afraid.

We put your XML through X2Pro and we can see "HF - Cam A.HF - Cam A-2" in Pro Tools just fine.
One other thing I can think of is to check that all of the roles you want are selected under the "Roles" section on the main page of X2Pro

Look like X2pro doesn't read <audio-channel-source role="HF - Cam A.HF - Cam A-2" srcCh="1"/>
and read role="dialogue.dialogue-1

Merge sub-roles into parent uncheck

All roles has been selected in FCPX

I think is a Multicam issue because I use the same workflow since years, and It's happened recently
How I can send you .fcpxml ?

In Preferences> Roles do you have "Merge sub-roles into parent" selected ? Or possibly on the main page, there is a roles button, do you have some of the roles unselected?

Is it just multicam clips this seems to be an issue with ? If so then would it be possible for you to send us your XML?
