Hi Tim,
it is still not working with one of the files that fails (many of them fail, I didn't identify all of them). Could it be possible to investiagte to these files ?

can we keep the discussion on the forum please, it is more reliable than email via the forum address and the posts help other people who may see the same problem.
As you can create AAF files with some media can you make a simple project with one of the clips that fails and try that, if it fails could you let me know and I'll arrange a way to get a sample of the media plus the XML to me so that I can investigate and get one of our developers to look at it if necessary.

there are quite a few possibilities here, can I ask some questions first:
What version of X2Pro are you using?
Have you used it successfully before?
If you have used it successfully before does it still work with a previously successful project?
Have you tried a very simple project with just a single clip?
What is the media type in that clip?

when i drive my file fcpxml into X2Pro it says :

Writting AFF file
Adding assets to AFF file
Adding essence for asset (ZOOM0002_Tr1) to AFF file
Adding essence data to AFF file for portion 0 of asset (ZOOM0002_Tr1)
Adding audio data to AFF file
Adding Sample data

Error code : 0x80000004
No AFF file has been generated....

Seams like my file ZOOM0002_Tr1 has a pb.
I tried to delete it, but many other files have also the same pb.
But What does that mean ? What I'm supposed to do ??
