Sorry it took me so long to get back to here with what the problem was.

It was a generator, Motionvfx mO2, that was causing it. Removed it for the AAF creation and it then worked.

Hi, I've had the "unable to parse" message before. This would happen when I had multiclips with one of the sources containing an empty audio channel.

Dear bcassin,

Would you be able to attach a copy of your XML for us to investigate please?

What version of FCPX are you running?

Kind Regards
Noel

This is a first. Not sure what is wrong with this xml. Any help would be appreciated.

Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information

Details:
Extracting Audio
Parsing FCP XML
Parsing FCP XML document
Parsing keyframe element
Time attribute had value of [-3.84011e+17s]

Suggestions:
- Ensure that the file is not locked by another application and is readable;
- Ensure that this is a valid FCP XML file from a released version of FCP X;
- Ensure that this is the export of a Project, not of a Library or Event;
- Ensure that this is not an empty project (or that all audio is disabled);
