error generating aaf from x2pro

Is it possible for you to let us have a copy of this file to check why it apparently can't be opened to extract the audio:
/Volumes/Promise%20Pegasus/OnAir%20Promo/Projekte%20OnAirPromo/xMas%202020/3plus/Media/Footage/Greatest%20Showman_SE_M04842_.mxf
If you can let us have it I'll arrange to send you details for uploading it to us.

I have the same Issue.

The original file is an MXF with 16 embedded audio tracks.
I'm using only track one.

Usually those MXF files work fine, but lately it's the third file where the problem occurs.


Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [Greatest Showman_SE_M04842_] to AAF file
Opening audio extractor for portion 0 of asset [Greatest Showman_SE_M04842_]
Failed to initialise audio extractor with default bit depth of 24
Error Setting up for audio extraction (The operation could not be completed)

Suggestion: Does this movie contain an unsupported audio format ?

No AAF file has been generated.
X2Pro Audio Convert 4.5.4

I am on mac OS 10.14.6. Right now, I can not update to Catalina or Big Sur, cause I have to stay on the same os as the my biggest customer, which is big company and they take Precautions, before they du upgrades.

cannot generate aaf xml file from x2pro
error - "Failed to initialise audio extractor with default bit depth of 24"
issue probably due to some video file in 4k 25p format

Please find attached for your reference.
