Hi Awalker,
I had a chat with the developer and he thinks it might be possible to simply remove the .1 off the end of the 43000 and it should go through X2Pro okay. I recommend creating a copy of the XML in case and seeing if that lets you create an AAF file without having to remove the clip. Any issues please feel free to ask!

You can trouble shoot these yourself yes. In the most recen xml file you sent me, if you open the file in some kind of txtedit or notes program you can search "48003.1" this should show you every clip with that audio rate (should just be the one).
<media-rep kind="original-media" sig="F4C9977B800713CE5487559D76E9B61B" src="file:///Volumes/KLOL211009/WIP%20EXPORTS/RE-ENCODE%20FOR%20AAF%20FIX/1993%20Dayna%20KLOLStudio1.mov">
The point of this is to identify which clips are an issue and remove them from the project before trying to create the AAF again as 48003.1 is an unsupported bitrate.

How are you using the XML to determine what file isn't working? Is it possible for me to trouble shoot on my own? Right now this issue is a major bottle neck in our post production timeline, any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for IDing the problem file. I’ve re-encoded the file because I can’t simply remove it from the film. I’ve confirmed that an XML pointing to a timeline with just the replacement file on it doesn’t give me the same error message in X2Pro. However, after replacing all references to that file in the main timeline I am still getting the same error message in X2Pro. I’ve attached the new XML. Any ideas? Thanks again

It looks like an issue with just this one clip:
file:///Volumes/KLOL211009/FinalCutOriginalMedia/2012-08-05/1993DaynaKLOLStudio1.mov
If you can remove that file from the project in FCPX and then export a new xml X2Pro should generate an AAF file for you.

Hi Awalker,
It looks like you have an audio clip with a strange bitrate. If you can attach your xml here I can have a look and see which clip(s) it has an issue with.

Thanks in advance for the help. I've created an FCPXML of a documentary project but X2Pro won't read it:
Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information
Details:
Extracting Audio
Getting audioRate attribute
Int attribute had value of [48003.1]
Parsing FCP XML
Parsing FCP XML document
Parsing asset element
Suggestions:
- Ensure that the file is not locked by another application and is readable;
- Ensure that this is a valid FCP XML file from a released version of FCP X;
- Ensure that this is the export of a Project, not of a Library or Event;
- Ensure that this is not an empty project (or that all audio is disabled);
