Hi James,
Thanks for your nice reply. Yes, the problem comes from the XML. And now i am almost 100 % sure that the issue comes from a third party plugin... Thanks for your help.
Cheers
Cédric

Dear VTOPO,
Yes it does look like a malformed XML, if you were to copy the XML, and then open it up in an XML editor, go to Line 52096, and possibly remove the whole line, hopefully that might resolve it, if not it will be a case of debugging the XML which will be very time consuming. One method would be to trim the XML into quarters, and see if each quarter goes through, and then trim the bad quarter (if its only one) further down to isolate hopefully a small section of the project.
Yours Sincerely
James

Hi VTOPO,
Can you import the XML back into FCPX ? Does it give you any errors ? If it does I would suspect that the XML is badly formatted in some way. Would you be able to attach the XML to this thread ?
Yours Sincerely
James

Hello all,
I tried to convert an XML file but i have this error message "UNABLE TO PARSE FCP XML FILE"
I tried all the solutions and specially to copy to different locations my clips and to create new XML files but the problems is still here
I have no more idea.
I tried to convert another XML file (from the same locations and the same export XML parameters) and it works... But for this XML it doesnt work.
Any idea please ?
