Update:
We tried a few things. The media files were relocated to the Desktop of the Mac and the Project relinked to those files.
Exported a new fcpxlm and used that in X2Pro. It still complained about access to the files.
Created a new Test Library and Project using some of the media files from the Desktop.
Gooris also informed me the latest Sonoma update was applied.
When the fcpxml was exported it worked.
Gooris then retried the other fcpxml and that also worked.
I suspect the Sonoma Update fixed the issue.

Hi,
I have been testing your media here and it works fine, so it's not an AVFoundation issue.
Using a MacBook Pro, Apple M3, Sonoma 14.4.1, FCP 10.7.1 (Export XML version 1.11), X2Pro 4.5.16 and X2Pro5 5.0.34
This does look like an access/permissions issue on your system.
Would you be able to copy the files more local to your machine and try it again please.

Hi,
This is looking like an issue with Apple's AVFoundations, which doesn't like some MXF files.
Would it be possible to send us one of the MXF files from //Volumes/IMOLA 2024/ RUSHES ENG/ so we can investigate further please.
I will email you separately with the details to our ftp site.
Many Thanks

Hi,
It could possibly be accessibility.
Can you give X2pro 'Full Disk Access' and try again please.
Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security
On the right, scroll down to 'Full Disk Access'
Then look for X2pro in the list and set the toggle switch ON
If that doesn't help we will probably need a copy of the clip and the FCP XML to investigate further.
