Hi Chris

I have the same problem as post 46 and I see that Beta software fixes but I can not see anywhere the download link. I have tried to convert numerous very simple projects with zero success; and the experience to date has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would be grateful if you could point me to the Beta software.

Thank you very much.

No, I'm afraid there is no way to ignore it.
We'll look into it.

Dawar,
Thanks so much for your full description of the problem. It has helped us identify that you had some things in your XML that we had not seen before. We've fixed these and they will be in the next release which is imminent.
In the meantime, I'll be in touch directly to help you out more quickly.
Many thanks!

Hello,
I've been able to export an AAF from a project with no multicam clip, but now I've got an error warning coming from a multicam project :

Writing AAF file
Adding tracks to AAF file
Writing AAF track structure
Processing clip
Adding clip from source channel 1 to track 1
The clip starting at 42.4 seconds in the project has an end point within its referenced asset [00_0018_2012-02-24_152955] of 316440 edit units but the asset only has a length of 263800 edit units

No AAF file has been generated.

There's 2 instances of this clip [00_0018_2012-02-24_152955] in my project, as audio-only connected clips.
One begins at 00:00:54:21, the other begins at 00:01:00:22.

Alan, really sorry that you had troubles using X2Pro last night, and that we were not on-line to help you out.
We have a beta available to resolve that issue and would be more than happy to include you in the beta program.

Managed to resolve that issue by including a 12 frame gap clip at the beginning of the project, instead of starting dead on a cross-fade.

Weird.

Also, your upload system won't allow me to upload a .fcpxml It's asking for a .xml

Should I just rename it and retry?

Having the same problem as nickarnold 07.

I've attached the .fcpxml

I also have to say, so far, I'm not really thrilled about spend $70 on this, it doesn't seem to work well or often.

@CitizenP: I don't think your XML got attached properly. Chris is going to get in contact with you directly.

If you want to check the AAF is good before giving it to your audio guy, you could perhaps download a trial of Pro Tools from www.avid.com/Trial/ProTools , or if you don't have an iLok USB Smart Key (required for Pro Tools trial), you could try media composer from apps.avid.com/media-composer-trial/ , but because the timeline is limited to frame boundaries in Media Composer (and X2Pro's AAFs are accurate to ms), the audio will only be accurate to the nearest frame.
