My apologies for the delay and for your continued struggles.
The Mac App store has the updated version of X2Pro on it.
Please let us know if that resolve your problems, please.

I have all but given up. It's been frustrating. Having said that, how does one upgrade to 3.0.5?
Best Regards,
Dave O.

Do you still have problems with X2Pro and/or have you been able to upgrade to the 3.0.5 version and use it?
Please let us know if you are still seeing problems with the application.
Many thanks.

The X2Pro development team are working on changing from QTKit to AVFoundation, so the next update may be able to handle this type of file.
It would be nice to get the file from you if at all possible to test with in our lab against the newly developed software.
Could you provide that file to us, please?

[/Volumes/G-DRIVE 2 TB/Valentines Day/valentines day video files/Dup video files/DSC_0039 (fcp1).mov]
I can play this file (like all the others) with Quicktime 10.2. This file is in the same directory as all the others, and they have been working fine.
Best Regards,
Dave O.

Do you mean to remove the file from its directory or remove it from the xml?
I tried to attach the file, but it's too large. Is there another way to get it to you?

Alternately, if the clip isn't essential to the audio editing, you may can try removing the clip and export the XMl and see if that works in X2Pro.
Thanks.

It got to about 75% through the conversion and gave me the following error --
Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [DSC_0020] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 0 of asset [DSC_0020]
Reading audio data from audio extractor : 1048576 samples
Failed to read 1048576 samples
Error Reading audio data from asset [-50] [error in user parameter list]
Suggestion: Try transcoding this file and any other files of the same audio format:
[/Volumes/G-DRIVE 2 TB/Valentines Day/valentines day video files/Dup video files/DSC_0020.mov]
No AAF file has been generated.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Dave O.
