The is a bug in some versions of Pro Tools 12. The path you are seeing, is actually to one of the source files on the Avid development
systems, not to a file on your system. I think it is fixed in the latest version of Pro Tools.

See this post for more info and a workaround.

The clip timecode. We figured out that it was an issue with the XML exported.

However, I now have another curious problem.

I randomly get this error message, in this case it's when trying to Save, but similar error messages occur on other operations:

Could not complete the Save command because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/200028/ProTools/NewFileLibs/FF/Audio/FF_AudioFile.cpp", line 1104.

(Use the Copy button to copy this message to the clipboard.)

It is definitely some sort of corrupted file in "Render Sources" found in the Browser window. This folder is not in Finder, however, so I'm not sure how to fix the issue.

Ever seen this error?

Which timecodes are you looking at after you import the AAF?

Hey guys,

Could you tell me if X2Pro preserves clip timecode? After brining in the AAF, we noticed that the clip timecodes are completely different than the timecode on the audio files themselves.

Any insight?

Thanks

Christian
