In order to figure out why this is happening, we need to be able to see it happen on our systems here.manoucho wrote:

Can you please create a small project using a minimal amount of clips that exhibits this issue and then provide that to us. We will need the fcpxml and all the clips used in the project, which is why smaller is better. In order to get a small project, it might be easiest to duplicate an existing project and trim before/after a point where the issue occurs. As well as providing the fcpxml and the clips, please provide step by step instructions of what you do and where in the sequence the audio goes wrong with time codes or seconds..
In that case we will need to look at the RED clip here. The error message tells us that the clip is called "A001_C006_032668", but if that isn't enough information, I can tell you a file name and location if you attach your FCPXML.manoucho wrote:
Yes absolutely.Graeme Robinson wrote: The error message is unrelated. Are you using the latest version of X2Pro (v2.4)?

First of all thanks for your help.
Indeed there is a PORTION of that clip that is retimed. But that's only a few seconds, and I've made a cut to isolate that part: the parts surrounding it are not retimed.
Can it cause the issue ?
Also, can it explain that following problem?
I'm having an additional problem: if I uncheck the TRIM option, I get an error creating the AAF:
Writing AAF file
Adding assets to AAF file
Adding essence for asset [A001_C006_032668] to AAF file
Adding essence data to AAF file for portion 0 of asset [A001_C006_032668]
Reading audio data from audio extractor : 308674 samples
Failed to read 308674 samples
Error Requested 308674 samples from RED file but got 298665

I notice that in your original FCPXML, there are 11 clips that have been retimed. X2Pro doesn't support retimed clips (they will be put in the AAF at their original speed). This isn't causing the echo/delay, is it?

-- EDIT
Actually I don't have it anymore. So let me know if your download works and if know I will rebuilt it.

Did you have the time to check where the problem came from ?
Is it realistic to count on your help in a reasonable timeframe, so I can send the project to the designer ?
Thank you so much!
Emmanuel
