Graeme, I'm constantly getting a broken pipe. It might be due to the bad internet (we are shooting on location). I will send you the file again on Monday when I am back. You can clean up what has been uploaded so far.

I don't have any experience using Xto7, but I do know that we've had a couple of users mention Xto7 in the forums. One said that they were able to work around a problem they were experiencing in X2Pro by using Xto7, the other said that when they used Xto7 before using X2Pro and they only got one track of synced audio instead of 3 that they were expecting.
I think the next step would be to get the problematic files over to us to take a look at here. The files of interest would be:
I can provide FTP details if you would like?
I think the next step would be to get the problematic files over to us to take a look at here. The files of interest would be:
- The RED clip that causes the error that you copy/pasted below. This R3D file is called "A001_C006_032668_001.r3d" and is on the drive called "LaCie" in "/Final Cut Portable Libraries/19eme etage portable.fcpbundle/19eme etage/Original Media/A001_C006_032668/". If the RED clip spans multiple files then we would need all of the files in the spanned set.
- One of the synchronised clips that get the audio delay/echo when converted using X2Pro. This would be the R3D file (or files if it is a spanned set) and the WAV file (or files).
I can provide FTP details if you would like?

Graeme, I received an answer for question 1: the recorder used was a ZOOM.
What are the next steps ? We need to deliver asap and I'm really blocked now, I'm wondering if I should purchase Xto7 and export an OMF from there but it's not cheap so I'd like to hear your opinion before.

Well you're very right to double check with us careless customers :)
- The audio echo/delay is from an externally recorded track that has been syncronized with a RED clip. It plays well in FCPX but there is a delay in the AAF.
- Second statement is correct.
