There is only one zipped file uploaded on the 28th which contains the two XMLs we looked at, no other XMLs were uploaded yesterday, can you therefore attempt to upload "TIMELINE EDIT MAIN 5 ONLINE XML snow.fcpxml" again please.
Many thanks.

Are you sure you sent me the right file?
7_Kultur_mission is not my project
My project is TIMELINE EDIT MAIN 5 ONLINE XML snow.fcpxml
7_Kultur_mission is asking me for media locations which I never had
Best

Didn't you provide two xmls yesterday one was called 7_Kultur_mission__xml_1_6.fcpxml ? As this is the one we went through and will now go through X2Pro.
Please advise

I sent you the FCP XML which was generated with FCPX 10.3
I hope it can be resolved quickly
Its the only thing delaying my whole production from moving into sound
If you find retimed compound clips, I dont know why. I dont remember ever retiming compound clips.
Anyway, godspeed
Thanks

Have popped you mail with our ftp drop folder details on, if you could upload the xml and the error text, that would be good and we will take a look at it.
Yours Sincerely
James

i found a friend and he exported an xml with the latest version of fcpx. I still couldnt open it in xtopro. i can send it to but its 40 mb. got a mail?
this is so despairing.
today i tried to xml a thired of the project to xml - to ae - then to premier with hope to export omf from premier. and that resulted with many unrelinkable clips in my fcpx timeline. its crazy. why cant there be a simple normal export to omf from fcpx? i dont know.
Unable to parse FCP XML file to obtain project information
Suggestions:
- Ensure that the file is not locked by another application and is readable;
- Ensure that this is a valid FCP XML file from a released version of FCP X;
- Ensure that this is the export of a Project, not of a Library or Event;
- Ensure that this is not an empty project (or that all audio is disabled);

I had a look to see what could be done to make your FCPXML go through X2Pro. After removing 13 invalid audio references, then removing a further 4 invalid compound clips, I had an fcpxml that X2Pro would open. Unfortunately, even then X2Pro found 9 retimed compound clips, which are valid, but only supported by X2Pro in v1.6 fcpxmls, so that really is the only option.
I hope you find someone with a recent version of FCP that can help (you will need FCP X 10.3 or newer for v1.6 fcpxmls). Good luck!
